Although Cochlear Implants can run on regular Size 675 Zinc Air Batteries, most CI manufacturers suggest using special batteries designed for cochlear implants, as the power consuption or drain on the batteries are much more demanding than normal hearing aids.

In fact, certain manufacturers recommend using only 1 brand of battery.

Thus it is always best to consult your owner's manual to see which Cochlear Implant battery is recommended.
